Job summary

The position is a Tree Surgeon / Grounds Person for a well-established firm based in Sutterton, Lincolnshire. The salary ranges from £32,000 to £36,000 per annum depending on experience and qualifications, with a standard 40-hour week from 7.30 to 16:00.

Location: Sutterton, with travel around surrounding areas. Some out-of-hours work and occasional overnight stays are required, with additional pay for those hours.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years' practical experience within the arboriculture industry.
• City & Guilds Level 2 Certificate of Competence in Chainsaw Maintenance and Cross-Cutting (CS30).
• City & Guilds Level 2 Certificate of Competence in Felling Small Trees up to 380mm (CS31).
• City & Guilds Level 2 Certificate of Competence in Climbing Trees and Aerial Rescue (CS38).
• Aged over 21 for insurance purposes.
• Full clean manual driving licence.
• Willing to undertake an enhanced DBS check.
• All PPE will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out general arboricultural duties for multiple clients.
• Mixed Tree Works.
• Hedge Cutting.
• Site Clearence.
• Stump Grinding.
