Job summary

idverde is seeking multiple Arborist Climbers to join our team in Telford. You will perform tree care, crown work, removals, and planting as part of a dedicated arboriculture crew.

The role offers a permanent, full-time contract, 37 hours per week, with an hourly rate between £12.71 and £14, depending on experience and qualifications. A full UK driving license is required, and safety is paramount.

We support development with training and PPE provided, and a friendly, inclusive team culture.

• Proven experience as Arborist/Tree Surgeon.
• Ability to work safely with equipment and follow safety protocols.
• Full, clean UK Driving Licence.

Job description

• Climbers Location: Telford and surrounding areas Hourly Rate: £12.71 to £14 DOE and qualifications held Contract Type: Permanent, Full Time Working Hours: 37 hours, Monday to Thursday - 8:00am to 4:00pm, Friday - 8:00am to 3:30pm About the role At idverde, we provide a range of Arboricultural Operations including tree removals, crown thinning/reductions/lifting, deadwooding and tree planting, as well as ongoing tree maintenance.

We are seeking multiple Arborist Climbers to join our team based in Telford.

This is an exciting opportunity to advance and be part of a dynamic team that are committed to growth, safe working practices and delivering the best service to our clients.

Working closely with the arborist team, you will help drive operational excellence and uphold the company's reputation in forestry and arboriculture services.

Requirements Proven experience as an Arborist/Tree Surgeon, with an eye for detail and passion for high quality tree care.

Excellent understanding of safety protocols, care & maintenance of all equipment, plus the ability to undertake operations safely and competently, with a can-do attitude.

Relevant Industry Qualifications (highly desirable, training can be provided for the right candidate): CS30 / NPTC 201

• Level 3 Chainsaw Maintenance and Cross-cutting CS31 / NPTC 202
• Level 3 Felling Small Trees <380mm CS32 / NPTC 304
• Level 3 Felling and Processing Medium Trees (380-760mm) CS38 / NPTC 203
• Level 2 Tree Climbing and Aerial Rescue CS39 / NPTC 204
• Level 2 Operate a Chain Saw from a Rope and Harness CS40 / NPTC 302
• Level 3 Aerial Tree Pruning CS41 / NPTC 303
• Level 3 Aerial Tree Rigging Additional Tickets & qualifications/ certificates beneficial e.g.

Strong communication, organisational & problem-solving skills with the ability to liaise confidently with clients and staff at all levels.

Full, clean UK Driving Licence.
