Job summary

Central YMCA is seeking an Arborist Tutor to deliver the Arborist Apprenticeship Standard across the Midlands. You will guide apprentices from start to EPA, delivering engaging training on site and online and assessing competence in the field.

The role offers fully funded assessor qualifications with paid study time and mentoring, plus flexible working patterns and home-based when not on site. You’ll develop employer partnerships, support recruitment and enrolment of apprentices, and grow

Qualifications

• Recognised arborist qualifications and experience training apprentices.
• Credible experience training & mentoring in arboriculture.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across Midlands.

Responsibilities

• Deliver practical and knowledge teaching to apprentices on-site or online.
• Assess learner work and provide constructive feedback via online portfolio.
• Manage diary and caseload of apprentices from signup to EPA preparation.
• Maintain learner records and employer relationships across the region.
