OCS Group is seeking an Arborist/Forestry professional in Watford to support a major national utility vegetation management contract. The role requires a qualified arborist, proven climbing skills, and a strong focus on safety and regulatory compliance.

We offer training and a collaborative team environment within a reputable facilities management company. The position is on-site with standard Monday–Friday hours and 40 hours per week, plus flexible adjustments as needed.

• Experience in arboriculture/forestry, preferably utility arb or land-based industry.
• Trained and competent climber.

About The Role

Working Pattern

The team member will work Monday - Friday. Standard work hours will be 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM, with a 1-hour unpaid lunch break. The team member may be expected to be flexible on the hours based on the requirements of the role, but overall, the hours will equate to 40 hours per week.

Key Responsibilities

• We are looking for an enthusiastic and capable person to join our team to work on this long standing and well established major national utility vegetation management contract.
• Have a firm focus on customer satisfaction, safety, compliance with all relevant laws, regulations and the promotion of safe working practices.

Key Hiring Criteria

• Will have an Arb or Forestry qualification.
• Will have previous experience in arboriculture or forestry, preferably utility arb or land-based industry.
• Will be a trained and competent climber.
• Be competent and confident in your role although high quality training is provided for the right person.
• Be comfortable working in a small team, you will need to be a problem solver, self-motivated and able to manage your time effectively, efficiently and have a professional and safe approach to work.
