Job summary

OCS UK & Ireland is seeking a capable team member to support a major national utility vegetation management contract in a 40-hour work week. You will work Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM, with an unpaid lunch break, and adapt hours as needed to meet role requirements.

Ideal candidates will hold an Arboriculture/Forestry qualification, have arboriculture/forestry experience, be a trained climber, and work well in a small team with a professional, safe approach and good time management.

• Arborist or Forestry qualification.
• Experience in arboriculture/forestry, preferably utility arbor or land-based.
• Trained and competent climber.
• Able to work in a small team, self-motivated, good time management and safety mindset.

About The Role:

Working Pattern

The team member will work Monday - Friday. Standard work hours will be 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM, with a 1-hour unpaid lunch break. The team member may be expected to be flexible on the hours based on the requirements of the role, but overall, the hours will equate to 40 hours per week.

• Have a firm focus on customer satisfaction, safety, compliance with all relevant laws, regulations and the promotion of safe working practices.

Key Hiring Criteria:

• Will have an Arb or Forestry qualification.
• Will have previous experience in arboriculture or forestry, preferably utility arb or land-based industry.
• Will be a trained and competent climber.
• Be competent and confident in your role although high quality training is provided for the right person.
• Be comfortable working in a small team, you will need to be a problem solver, self-motivated and able to manage your time effectively, efficiently and have a professional and safe approach to work.
