Job summary

BROWNS Trees in Milton Keynes is seeking an experienced Tree Surgeon / Arborist for a full-time, permanent position. You will work across domestic and commercial sites, performing tree removals, site clearances, pruning and hedge trimming, with emphasis on all aspects of tree surgery. CS30/CS31/CS38/CS39 qualifications and a full UK driving licence are preferred.

We offer 28 days holiday incl. bank holidays, a Christmas bonus, sick pay, training and progression, PPE and uniform, plus staff

Qualifications

• Arborist experience as Tree Surgeon / climbing Arborist.
• Competent in climbing, pruning and removals.
• Chainsaw maintenance and cross-cutting (CS30).
• Felling small trees up to 380mm (CS31).
• Aerial rescue (CS38) and aerial cutting with chainsaw (CS39).
• Full UK driving licence is required.
• Reliable, hardworking and team player with willingness to get involved in all aspects of tree surgery.

Responsibilities

• Arborist work across domestic and commercial sites.
• Perform tree removals, pruning and hedge cutting.
• Maintain chainsaws and use CS30/CS31/CS38/CS39 safely.
• Share knowledge and mentor less experienced colleagues.

Established in 1997, we're a family-run business looking for an experienced climbing arborist who takes pride in their work & wants a long-term role within a friendly business.

No two days are the same - We work across domestic & commercial sites, from large tree removals & site clearances to smaller tree pruning & hedge trimming. We value someone who enjoys ALL aspects of tree surgery, not just the big climbs!

What We're Looking For -

Essential Requirements:

• Arb Experience - As a Tree Surgeon / Climbing Arborist
• Competent & Confident in Tree Climbing, Pruning & Removals
• Chainsaw Maintenance & Cross-Cutting (CS30)
• Felling Small Trees, upto 380mm (CS31)
• Accessing a Tree
• Aerial Rescue (CS38)
• Aerial Cutting with a Chainsaw (CS39)
• Full UK Driving License
• Reliable, hardworking & able to work well in a team. A positive attitude & willingness to get involved in all aspects of tree surgery.
• We have a great group of lads, including some younger team members who are still developing their skills and experience. We'd love someone who is happy to share their knowledge & support less experienced colleagues.
• Equally, if you're an experienced arborist who simply loves doing the job and wants to be part of a good team, that's absolutely fine too!
• There's also the opportunity to progress further in your role or into other roles.
