An Arborist is responsible for the safe management and maintenance of trees across highways, public spaces, woodland environments, and development sites. The role includes a combination of ground-based and aerial arboricultural works to support vegetation management, tree safety, and ecological enhancement projects.

Arborists work as part of specialist teams delivering services such as tree felling, pruning, vegetation clearance, and forestry works.

• Carry out tree pruning, dismantling, and maintenance works
• Assist with tree felling and vegetation clearance operations
• Perform aerial tree work where qualified
• Maintain chainsaws, climbing equipment, and arboricultural tools
• Follow arboricultural health and safety procedures
• Support wider vegetation management and forestry projects
