Job description

Arboriculture Surveyor/ Tree Surgeon Surveyor Required To Work On Permanent Contract To Work With Industry Leading Housing Association.

My client requires an experience and professional Arboriculture Surveyor to carry out surveying and documenting of all tree stock in all communal estate areas and retirement accommodation. You will then produce maintenance schedules in order of urgency.

Supported by a dedicated Coordinator you will ensure that the tree data is accurate across our green spaces.

This is a crucial role supporting our clients commitment to sustainability and enhancing the quality of their communal green spaces.

This is an office-based role with a need for extensive travel, so a van and fuel card are provided, and a driving licence is essential. The area covered by this role is Birmingham/ Leicestershire/ Lincolnshire/ Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire so you would need to live one of these areas.

Salary: 37,193 per annum + Van + Fuel Card

Hours: 40 hours per week Monday - Friday

Holiday: 28 days + Bank Holidays

Pension: Minimum 8% contribution

Requirements:

  • Level 3 Arboriculture Qualification is essential.
  • Lantra Professional Tree Inspection is essential.
  • A City & Guilds/ National Diploma or equivalent in Horticulture is desirable.
  • It would also be desirable if you were an Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Horticulture and working towards Corporate Membership
  • Carrying out tree health surveys, hazard assessment, visual tree inspection and risk assessment surveys and reports
  • Dealing with Tree Preservation Order issues
  • You will have an In-depth knowledge and experience of professional Arboriculture work.
  • An understanding of key industry standards and current guidance on tree risk management
