Tandridge District Council is seeking an Arboricultural Specialist within the Planning team to provide expert advice on trees in planning decisions and related regulatory matters. The role will involve assessing TPOs, tree work applications, development management cases and conservation area trees to balance sustainable development with tree preservation in our district.

• Provide specialist arboricultural advice on Tree Preservation Orders (TPOs) and tree work applications
• Assist with development management applications and Conservation Area trees
• Handle planning enforcement matters relating to trees/soft landscape and high hedges
• Maintain and review the Tree Preservation Orders database and assess new protection requests
