Job summary

Park Avenue Recruitment are working with a London Borough seeking an experienced Tree Officer to join their team on an interim, part-time basis. The role supports Tree Preservation Order (TPO) applications and related arboricultural casework, including site visits and providing professional advice.

Responsibilities include assessing TPO applications, responding to enquiries from residents and stakeholders, and preparing reports and recommendations in line with legislation and local policy.

Job description

I am currently working with a London Borough who are seeking an experienced Tree Officer to join their team on an interim basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a tree professional looking for a flexible, part-time contract supporting the authority with Tree Preservation Order (TPO) applications and related arboricultural casework.

The Role:

• Assess and determine Tree Preservation Order (TPO) applications
• Provide professional arboricultural advice on a variety of tree-related matters
• Undertake site visits and inspections where required
• Respond to enquiries from residents, applicants and other stakeholders
• Prepare reports and recommendations in accordance with legislation and local policy

Contract Details:

• Initial 3-month contract
• Part-time working pattern
• Flexible working arrangements available
• Site visits required as part of the role
• Rates to be discussed
