Job summary

A leading infrastructure firm in Hounslow is seeking an Arboriculture Officer to manage the health and sustainability of trees. The role involves overseeing the Council's Tree Risk Management Programme and advising on arboricultural management practices. Ideal candidates will possess Level 5 Arboricultural qualifications and experience in tree inspection. This is a 6-month fixed-term contract with potential for permanent employment.

Qualifications

As Arboriculture Officer, at one of our infrastructure clients in Hounslow, you’ll be responsible for the health, safety, and sustainability of trees across the London Borough of Hounslow’s highway network. This role focuses on delivering the council’s Tree Risk Management Programme, ensuring compliance with legislation, and advising on all aspects of arboricultural management.

What you will need

  • Arboricultural qualification to Level 5 (HND/FdSc) or equivalent.
  • LANTRA Professional Tree Inspection (PTI) certification.
  • Proven experience in arboriculture, ideally in a customer-facing role.
  • Strong technical knowledge of tree inspection, risk management, and legislation.
  • Ability to use tree inventory and inspection software to maintain accurate records.
