Thomson Environmental Consultants invites applications for an Arboricultural Consultant to join our growing team. The role involves conducting site surveys, writing reports, and engaging directly with clients across diverse projects.

We offer hybrid working, mixing site work with home and office days. A level 4 Arboriculture qualification or progress toward it is expected, with strong report writing and client communication skills required.

Qualifications

• A level four qualification in Arboriculture (or currently working towards it).
• Proven tree survey experience within a consultancy or commercial environment.
• Expertise in Visual Tree Assessment (VTA) and development surveys in accordance with BS5837:2012.
• Ability to write Arboricultural Impact Assessments and Method Statements with precision and clarity.
• Strong communication skills—able to produce meticulous, accurate reports and confidently engage with clients and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Involved in a wide range of projects from site surveys to reporting for clients.
• Deliver high-quality arboricultural projects and interact directly with clients.
• Collaborate with teams to deliver exceptional results on diverse assignments.
