BCL Legal is seeking an International Arbitration Associate for its London office. The ideal candidate has 1–2 PQE and a strong grounding in international arbitration, including commercial and investment treaty matters.

You will work with partners to develop case theory, advise on CPR procedures, and manage a varied docket of high-value disputes across sectors. The firm offers a supportive environment and a clear path to client responsibility.

Qualifications

• Applications are sought from Arbitration Associates with 1–2 PQE in England & Wales or a leading common law jurisdiction.
• Strong academics and a confident understanding of arbitration practice are essential.
• Candidates should demonstrate organisational skills and client-focused approach.

Responsibilities

• Handle a broad range of arbitration matters including commercial, investment treaty and public international law
• Advise on procedural requirements under the CPR and court practices
• Collaborate with partners to formulate case theory and strategy on high-value disputes
