Location: Belfast

Salary/hourly rate: £14.50 to £16 per hour

Contract type: Permanent

Working hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM

About the role

As an Arborist Supervisor, you will oversee arboricultural operations, ensuring tree surgery and forestry tasks meet high standards. Your responsibilities include managing daily activities, coordinating teams, and ensuring health and safety compliance. You will focus on planning and executing arboricultural works, fostering a safe and efficient environment. Collaborating with internal teams and clients, you will drive operational excellence, support team development, and uphold the company's reputation in forestry and arboriculture services.

Requirements

• Level 3 Maintenance (CS 30 / CS 31), Level 3 Climb Trees and Perform Aerial Rescue (CS 38), Level 2 Operate a Chain Saw from a Rope and Harness (CS 39), Large fall over 380mm, Level 3 Aerial Tree Rigging (CS 41)
• Proven experience as an Arborist
• Full Clean Driving Licence
• Strong communication skills for liaising with clients and staff at all levels
• Experience in team management and performance
• Knowledge of Health & Safety procedures and risk management
• Ability to train and mentor others in arboricultural techniques
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
