Job description

Due to the current foreman relocating back to the family farm, E W Contracting requires an experienced arable operator to lead their 1,100 Hectare arable enterprise, which is run as part of a busy mixed farm. You will be working with the latest arable equipment, and primary duties will include all combineable crop drilling with a multi hopper Horsh Pronto DC 6M and a 6M Weaving Sabre Tine. A range of cultivations, fertilizing and working with the team in general farm work. Spraying skills would be an advantage. You will undertake the role of arable foreman to ensure operations are timely and efficiently undertaken. We require excellent tractor driving skills, telescopic handler certification would be preferred and good experience in drilling is needed. There are 700 head of milking and drystock on the farm and duties will include coordination with silage contractors, general assistance and some winter feeding and bedding. Good fabrication skills and an ability to service machinery would be necessary.
