Job summary

Canary Wharf Limited is seeking a Senior Manager – Transaction Services to lead and evolve the AR and AP teams, delivering robust processes, control, and insightful KPI reporting. The role focuses on collaboration across finance, procurement and operations, with a commitment to continuous improvement and high performance.

The position offers a balanced split of 4 days in the office and one day of home working.

Qualifications

Proven track record leading AP and AR teams in complex organisations, delivering improvements in service and control.
Strong leadership, coaching and development of high performing teams.
Deep understanding of working capital drivers and cash conversion levers.
Excellent KPI/MI capability for clear senior stakeholder insights.

Responsibilities

Lead and develop the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable teams (14 FTEs+4 directs) with offshore resource.
Own day-to-day delivery of AP and AR processes with accuracy, timeliness and compliance.
Drive cash and working capital performance through improved billing, dispute and collections.
Own the operational finance KPI suite and provide dashboards and insights to senior stakeholders.
Use KPI insight to drive standardisation, automation and control improvements.
Ensure robust controls and audit readiness across AP/AR and documentation.
