Job description

Accounts payable and accounts receivable manager required for a business near Birmingham Airport. You will be managing a team of 8 (6 AP and 2 AR), with the majority of the work being BAU AP/AR activities. There is currently an AP transformation underway, providing plenty of opportunities for the ideal candidate to engage with ongoing projects. On the AR side, you will assess the current situation, identify what works, what doesn't, and what needs fixing. Due to significant system changes, collaboration with IT will be essential to resolve issues, understand best practices, and clear a backlog of problems.
