Job description

We have an exciting opportunity to be part of the aquatics team as an Aquatics Instructor.

We are seeking Aquatics Instructors to support our programs across five leisure facilities within the Wakefield District.

This role involves providing support within our school swimming programme and delivering our Learn to Swim programme. You may need to travel to various sites around the district, working afternoons, evenings, and weekends to help residents of Wakefield District learn to swim and become confident and safe in and around water.

The ideal candidate will possess relevant swim teaching qualifications and have experience delivering lessons across different stages of a Learn to Swim programme. Strong organization, time management, and communication skills are essential, as the role involves working with multiple facility teams and a diverse range of age groups. Since delivering swimming lessons is a vital life skill for children, candidates must demonstrate the ability to work with children in a fun and engaging manner.
