Job summary

Gael Force Marine Equipment in Forres is looking for a dedicated Production Technician responsible for producing aquaculture equipment and performing repairs. You will work closely with the Production Supervisor to ensure high-quality standards in manufacturing and servicing.

The ideal candidate will have a mechanical engineering background, valid UK driving licence, and experience with electrical systems. This role offers a 39-hour work week, generous leave, and staff discounts.

Qualifications

• HNC or extensive experience in relevant Engineering subject.
• Valid UK driving licence required.
• Experience with electrical work including soldering.

Responsibilities

• Manufacture aquaculture products according to build procedures.
• Repair returned equipment according to procedures.
• Conduct ongoing service work and field work as required.
• Assist in diagnosing faults on customer sites if needed.

Skills

Mechanical Engineering knowledge

Valid UK driving licence

Electrical experience (including soldering)

Supervisory experience

Education

HNC in Engineering or extensive relevant experience
