Cytix is seeking an Application Security Engineer to join our Manchester-based AppSec Engineering team. We focus on integrating continuous penetration testing into the SDLC, working with clients and in-house teams to shape next-generation security testing.

Open to those who can visit the office twice a month or work remotely. We offer a fast-growing environment with recent Series A funding and a commitment to practical security testing rather than lengthy reports.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in Penetration Testing, Application Security Engineering, or a similar offensive security role.

Responsibilities

• Penetration testing web applications, APIs, mobile apps, etc. for clients across industries.
• Collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders to identify vulnerabilities and remediations.
• Perform risk reviews of application changes as part of continuous security testing.
• Work with developers and teams to strengthen application security and improve resilience.
