Job description

Kernow Farm & Equine Vets are looking for an ATT to join our friendly and supportive team on a permanent basis.

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an honest, reliable, enthusiastic individual to become part of our team. The role primarily involves TB testing and supporting our vet and office team. If you are a qualified ATT seeking a change, Kernow Vets would like to hear from you. If you are not currently an ATT, we can provide full ATT training (approximately 4 months) to the right candidate.

The minimum requirements for the Approved Tuberculin Tester (ATT) course are:

  1. Minimum of 6 months' cattle handling experience; and either
  2. 3 GCSEs or equivalent qualifications in English, mathematics, and a science or food production subject OR (b) 3 years' performance in a government regulatory role, e.g., Local Authority Inspector or Environmental Health Officer
  3. To meet APHA criteria, the successful applicant must be at least 18 years old
  4. Satisfactory DBS check

Shift pattern

You will work 9-hour shifts over 4 days: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday, including an unpaid lunch break.
