A leading healthcare recruitment partner is looking for committed Approved Mental Health Social Workers/AMHPs to join the Older Adult Mental Health Team in Guernsey. Applications are invited from committed and experienced Approved Mental Health Social Workers / AMHPs to join the Older Adult Mental Health Team on the beautiful Island of Guernsey, in the Channel Islands.
This is a Band 7 post.
The Older Adult Community team is part of the wider Adult Community Mental Health Service and offers a multidisciplinary team of mental health professionals who specialise in assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of mental health problems in older age.
You will provide support to clients both in the hospital and in the wider community. You may also be required to participate in the Island-wide rota for ASW/AMHP duties, including liaison with GPs, FMEs, and Psychiatrists, and developing and maintaining multi-disciplinary and multi-agency working.
Please note: Guernsey has adopted the AfC banding system but has its own salary scales.
The current Band 7 salary range is £55,578 to £73,085, plus an annual bonus of £1,605 and higher unsocial hours enhancements: 36% for evenings/Saturdays and 72% for Sundays/Public Holidays.
Annual leave starts at 36 days, up to 42 days, with full credit for NHS or UK Local Authority service for annual leave and sick leave.
The island of Guernsey has a population of 65,000 and features some of Britain's finest beaches, a mild and sunny climate, and a historic harbor town in St. Peter's Port, the capital.
