Job Title: Approved Mental Health Professional
Salary: Up to £44,711 per annum, plus 20% out-of-hours supplement and an additional £3,000 market forces pay.
Hours: 37 hours per week

Adult Social Care in Worcestershire is transforming—be part of this exciting journey! We are expanding our dedicated AMHP hub serving the community of Worcestershire. We welcome applications from qualified AMHPs, regardless of whether your background is in social work or another relevant profession. We seek motivated, flexible individuals with proven AMHP practice experience, skilled in assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation.
Applicants must hold an acknowledged AMHP qualification and demonstrate 18 hours of continued professional development in the past year. A minimum of 2 years' AMHP experience is required. Candidates should uphold high professional standards, act as role models, and support service development in line with the Professional Capabilities Framework and AMHP competencies.
Deep understanding of relevant legislation (Mental Health Act, The Care Act, Mental Capacity Act) is essential. The role involves working closely with partner agencies, including NHS Trusts, within a 24/7 shift pattern—early, late, and night shifts.
