About The Role
We are looking for an enthusiastic Approved Mental Health Professional (AMHP) to work in the Islington AMHP Duty Team.
The AMHP Service is a busy service with a variety of interesting and challenging work. You will be well supported by a Duty Manager, Senior AMHP, and AMHPs from the local mental health community services and adult social care services.
- As the dedicated AMHP Duty worker, you will be responsible for completing Mental Health Act assessments and other AMHP-related activities on behalf of the Council in line with legislation, policies, and procedures.
- You will collaborate with professionals from disciplines such as psychiatry, police, and ambulance services to ensure high standards in interventions and assessments.
- You will receive regular supervision and opportunities for career development and learning.
