The Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead is seeking dedicated and skilled Approved Mental Health Professionals (AMHPs) to join our Community Mental Health Team. These are full-time, permanent roles, with a salary of £45,831 - £54,997 per annum plus an annual retention bonus of £3,000 subject to eligibility.
The Role: As an AMHP, you will play a pivotal role in coordinating Mental Health Act (MHA) assessments, managing a small and capped caseload of complex cases, and contributing to the prevention of compulsory hospital admissions. This role offers autonomy, regular supervision, access to legal advice, and opportunities for professional development through training and legal updates.
You will work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to deliver care, safeguarding, and support that upholds the dignity, rights, and recovery of service users.
