Job summary

Hoop Social Work is seeking an Approved Mental Health Practitioner in Merthyr Tydfil to support duty cover with flexible hours. The post is ideally full-time, with scope to consider fewer hours.

Pay rate starts at £40 per hour via Umbrella; the role is with Merthyr Tydfil County Borough Council and offers regular payroll and agency support from Hoop Social Work. Experience with social care, registration with Social Care Wales, DBS compliance and references are required.

Qualifications

• A social work qualification and registration with Social Care Wales or Social Work England required.
• Enhanced DBS with update service or willingness to apply.
• Minimum 3 years of professional referencing.
• Full driving license with access to a car.

• Help with duty and flexible on hours; full-time preferred, but part-time considered.
