The approved Electrician will be required to carry out a wide range of electrical duties, including service, response & breakdown works, and new build installations. The work will mainly be in the commercial & industrial sectors, with a specific focus on hazardous areas, which may require staying away from home as needed.

More about the role:

• Work at various locations across the UK on new electrical installation projects.
• Perform minor civil/construction tasks such as clearing cable routes and making holes in walls for electrical installations.
• Test newly installed circuits and cabling, recording results accurately.
• Complete test certification efficiently and submit for approval.
• Assist other engineers as required.
• Ensure all equipment checks are completed before starting work.
• Handle materials uplift and offloading safely and in compliance with health and safety standards.
• Secure all company equipment properly.
• Follow health and safety protocols, including reading and signing RAMS documentation.
• Identify and report repair work needed.
• Communicate with customers on-site regarding ongoing work and additional services.
• Complete all necessary paperwork promptly.
• Coordinate with line managers and office staff, suggest improvements and opportunities.
• Perform any other duties within your qualification and capability.

About you:

• Possess a valid UK driving license.
