The Role

We are seeking an experienced, qualified Electrician to join C~urb 6 Property Maintenance, part of Link Group, within the Reactive Maintenance team. The Electrician will provide high-quality, efficient electrical services, including all aspects of electrical work in properties owned or managed by Link Group or under service agreements.
The role includes conducting smoke alarm inspections and upgrades in accordance with Scottish Government legislation.
C~urb, a partner of Link Group, offers high-quality repairs and maintenance services to Link tenants and other clients in Scotland’s Central Belt, along with planned and cyclical maintenance activities.
A full UK driving license is essential, as the role requires working across Link's areas of operation. We provide access to a van, power tools, mobile phone, uniform, and PPE.
About You
You should have detailed technical knowledge demonstrated through experience and hold a relevant NVQ Level 3 or City & Guilds qualification (or equivalent). A qualification in City & Guilds 2382 18th Edition IEE Wiring Regulations and a Health & Safety passport (e.g., ECS card) are required.
Proven experience in a similar electrician role, with competent knowledge of electrical installations and appliances, fault diagnosis, and rectification, is essential.
The ability to compile technical reports and knowledge of various construction methods, materials, and installations are important.
A commitment to excellent customer care, a good understanding of Health and Safety standards, legislation, and their impact on work methods and customer needs are vital.
