Role objective:
As the Apprenticeships & Emerging Talent Advisor, you will play a vital support role in delivering apprenticeship and early careers initiatives across the business. Working closely with the Lead, you will help coordinate programmes, engage with providers and stakeholders, and ensure smooth administration and communication around development opportunities. Key Responsibilities:
- Support the day-to-day coordination of apprenticeship and early careers programmes, including onboarding, progress tracking, and learner engagement.
- Act as a point of contact for learners, line managers, and training providers, ensuring consistent communication and timely issue resolution.
- Assist in scheduling training sessions, briefings, and development events, maintaining relevant calendars and materials.
- Help maintain accurate programme data and reporting via internal systems and portals
- Contribute to internal communications and awareness campaigns, including filming and documenting success stories of colleagues on programme to further promote apprenticeships and emerging talent opportunities.
- Support recruitment and onboarding activities for apprentices and emerging talent, including interview coordination and induction planning.
- Help monitor programme compliance and performance against KPIs, escalating concerns where needed.
- Stay informed about apprenticeship standards, funding rules, and best practice, contributing ideas to improve programme delivery.
- Work collaboratively with the wider People Team to integrate apprenticeships into talent, DE&I, and learning initiatives.
Skills and Experience:
- Experience in a people-focused role (HR, L&D, recruitment, education, or similar).
- Passionate about supporting learner journeys and career development.
- Excellent organisation skills with the ability to prioritise multiple tasks.
- Confident communicator with strong interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and comfortable using systems to manage data.
- Proactive and solutions-oriented mindset.
- Understanding of apprenticeships or early careers programmes
- Willingness to learn and grow with support and coaching from the Lead.

Additional Requirements:
The role will be based at the Head Office but will involve work and travel throughout the country with some occasional overnight stays and potential evening work.
Due to working with young people, a criminal record check through DBS may be required.
