Job summary

Hart Learning & Development, part of North Hertfordshire College, is seeking an experienced Apprenticeship Tutor in Health & Social Care to support learners across clinical and non-clinical programmes.

You will deliver high-quality teaching, coaching and assessment, conduct workplace observations and progress reviews, and collaborate with employers to help learners achieve qualifications and advance their careers.

Qualifications

• Background in Health & Social Care with industry experience or teaching/training experience.
• Degree, relevant occupational qualification, or registered practitioner.
• GCSE Maths and English (Grade C/4 or above, or equivalent).
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Assessor qualification and apprenticeship experience desirable.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging learning and assessment.
• Support learner recruitment, induction and progression.
• Conduct workplace observations and reviews.
• Develop tailored learning plans and SMART targets.
• Maintain learner records using OneFile and other digital platforms.
• Promote safeguarding, equality, diversity and inclusion.
