Job description

Salary: £18,000 Apprenticeship salary

Location: Hams Hall

Working Hours: 40 hours Monday to Friday

Your Tasks

As a Trainee Accountant Apprentice, you will:

  • Support the month-end process, including processing of accruals and prepayments

  • Profit and Loss reporting and auditing

  • Support the PO process and help to maintain integrity and accuracy for the subledger

  • Balance sheet reconciliations during the month-end process

  • Analyse expenditure to provide insight into the business.

  • Support the Business Partners with business analysis, the budget process, and forecasting monthly figures

  • Participate in audits and compliance checks

Your Profile
  • Education: Minimum of an AAT Level 2 qualification

  • Strong numerical and analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities.

  • Enthusiastic, proactive, and eager to learn.

  • Flexible team player with the ability to embrace change
