The University of Westminster is looking for a full-time individual to support apprenticeship programs within the School of Life Sciences. This role focuses on advancing the skills and knowledge of BSc (Hons) Applied Biomedical Science apprentices through structured progress reviews and tailored support in collaboration with academic staff and employers.
This post is full time and permanent, working 35 hours per week.
The Quality and Standards Office plays a key role in developing the University’s quality assurance and academic regulatory frameworks, including the approval, monitoring, and review of courses. It also provides a Committee Secretariat function and supports the University’s three Colleges in meeting their responsibilities for quality assurance, academic standards, and governance.
We are seeking to appoint a highly motivated individual to support the delivery of tripartite progress reviews to apprentices in the School of Life Sciences for our BSc (Hons) Applied Biomedical Science programme, a Level 6 Healthcare Science Practitioner apprenticeship.
The candidate will work with academic staff and employers to support our apprentices and nurture their talent. The role involves negotiating their learning needs in the workplace and supporting each apprentice in a tailored, individual manner to develop their knowledge, skills, and behaviors.
To be effective, you will need to possess excellent sector or subject knowledge, along with an understanding of professional development achieved through both on-the-job and off-the-job training, professional development, and work-based learning relevant to your field of expertise.
