We have an exciting opportunity available at Barking and Dagenham College.

We are looking for Apprenticeship Quality Assurance, Progress and Compliance Manager to join our Apprenticeship team.

You will join us on a full-time, permanent basis, and in return, we offer a competitive salary of £41,015 to £43,319 per annum, inclusive of London Weighting.

The Apprenticeship Quality Assurance, Progress and Compliance Manager role:

To drive high-quality measures across all our apprenticeship standards.

You must have previous teaching and quality background experience within apprenticeships.

As the Apprenticeship Quality Coordinator, you will ensure the planning, management, and implementation of their strategy for every component of quality.

Responsible for improving achievement and monitoring progress against all apprentices.

Key Responsibilities of our role:
  1. Support the design, development, implementation, and management of the Quality Plan and Apprenticeship approach for the designated apprenticeship programmes/Standards, ensuring it complies with ESFA funding rules.
  2. Work alongside the Data and Compliance Manager to ensure the quality execution of Apprenticeships through maximising the learning content, effective leadership with IQA's, and maximise the effective use of Smart Assessor, e-Portfolio OneFile, and EPA platforms.
  3. Conduct quality management activities to ensure all delivery staff meet expectations and work towards actions set in plans.
  4. Work with Curriculum areas to ensure the quality of provision is outstanding and progress is tracked and monitored.
Our ideal candidate should have the following qualifications, skills, and experience:
  1. Hold a qualification in Quality Management.
  2. Have recent and relevant experience of training/coaching in the relevant subject area.
  3. Extensive experience in apprenticeship quality management.
  4. Possess an assessing qualification or be prepared to undertake further relevant training.
  5. Having a qualification in coaching or mentoring, especially training/coaching learners on apprenticeship qualifications, is an advantage.
  6. Able to develop and maintain effective employer relations and identify opportunities for new and repeat business.
