Harper Adams University is seeking an Apprenticeship Outcomes Officer on a part-time basis to support apprentices and their employers across England. This 14-month fixed-term contract involves facilitating progression through apprenticeship programs, conducting reviews, and promoting programs during university events. Ideal candidates will possess experience in learner support and strong communication and organisational skills.
Apprenticeship Outcomes Officer (Part Time, 0.70FTE, 26.6 hours per week, Fixed term up to 14 months)
We have an opportunity to recruit an Apprenticeship Outcomes Officer to the Apprenticeship Team at Harper Adams University to cover maternity leave. This will be a 14-month contract to allow for hand-over and training.
The role will be based in the apprenticeships team but will work closely with the Apprenticeship Course Managers and tutors who teach on the Chartered Surveyor degree apprenticeship. You will work with a caseload of apprentices and their employers across England, supporting progression through the apprenticeship programme in line with current funding and regulatory requirements. Duties include conducting regular reviews via Teams or in person, ensuring off-the-job training records are updated, and liaising with academic colleagues to support apprentices and employers throughout the programme. Some reviews may occur at employers’ premises, requiring travel, but most meetings will be remote.
Following initial training on campus at Harper Adams University, you will be able to work flexibly, with attendance at meetings on campus as required. You will also support the promotion of apprenticeship programmes during university open days, external careers events, and other activities.
