A leading technology company in Nechells is offering an Apprenticeship in Maintenance Engineering. The role includes off-site training at Birmingham Met College and practical experience with experienced engineers to support your career development. Ideal candidates should have 5 GCSE's and relevant A Levels or BTEC qualifications. This full-time position offers a variety of challenging tasks and benefits, ensuring a comprehensive learning experience.
The scheme includes the first-year off-site training at Birmingham Met College during which you will work towards your Practical Foundation Engineering Skills and commence your Foundation Degree in Manufacturing (Some Level 3 BTEC Units May be required in year one to bridge Knowledge to Foundation Degree). When you return to the company in your second year, you will begin your competence development element which will involve being budded up with an experienced engineer to apply the knowledge and skills learnt within our state-of-the-art facility.

5 GCSE's at Grade A-C or 5 or above, including Mathematics (Higher Paper, English and a Science, Technology or Engineering related subject, as well as A Levels at grade C or above in both a Mathematical based subject and a Science, Technology, Engineering or additional Mathematics related subject, or 90+ credits in an Engineering BTEC at level 3.
