Rate of Pay: £22.67 - £29.50 per Hour
Summary:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dedicated and passionate Apprenticeships and Early Careers Partner to design and deliver innovative early careers and apprenticeship programmes. You will play a key role in attracting new talent, addressing workforce skills gaps, and building a resilient, diverse future workforce.
The postholder will provide expert guidance on early careers pathways, collaborate with HR colleagues to strengthen the council's employer brand, and ensure a high-quality learner experience, enabling participants to reach their full potential.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the planning, procurement, and delivery of apprenticeship, internship, and early careers programmes.
- Develop annual recruitment plans for apprentices, graduates, and interns aligned with organisational needs.
- Represent the council at career fairs, school, college, and university events.
- Ensure fair, transparent recruitment and selection processes for early careers talent.
- Oversee the onboarding, induction, and ongoing support for all participants.
- Monitor participant diversity and support action plans to promote inclusivity.
Qualifications:
- Degree or equivalent professional qualification or experience.
- Evidence of continuous professional and personal development.
Experience Required:
- Relevant experience in HR, Organisational Development, apprenticeships, or education.
- Experience supporting the design and delivery of early careers or apprenticeship programmes.
- Experience providing pastoral, learning, or peer-to-peer support.
- Proven track record in contract management and supplier performance oversight.
