First Military Recruitment is partnering with an international Defence business to recruit an Apprenticeship Coach (Vehicle Mechanics) on a 12-month contract, with potential for permanent employment due to growth. The role is fully remote, with travel to various sites in the South West region of the UK, including Colchester, Ipswich, Kent, and Woodbridge.

The successful candidate must be able to obtain and maintain Standard (BPSS) security clearance.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  1. Assess learner work and activities, providing feedback on progress and ensuring proper documentation for the induction process.
  2. Deliver training on underpinning knowledge to support learners' completion of their Apprenticeship Programme.
  3. Conduct training and coaching reviews with learners at scheduled intervals.
  4. Complete all relevant apprenticeship paperwork according to company policies, ensuring proper communication with administration and relevant offices.
Skills and Qualifications:
  1. Extensive experience in mechanical, electrical, or electronic fields.
  2. Experience supporting and delivering Apprenticeship Programmes, including assessment, lesson planning, and training delivery.
  3. Understanding of Equality & Diversity principles.
  4. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  5. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  6. Ability to liaise effectively with military personnel at all levels, including soldiers and senior officers.
  7. Military sector experience is preferred.
  8. Level 3 Qualification in Mechanical Engineering.
  9. GCSE Maths and English at grade C or equivalent.
  10. An Assessor qualification is desirable; training can be provided for suitable candidates.
Additional Details:

Reference: MB756

Location: East Anglia

Salary: £36,400 for a 12-month fixed-term contract

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 37 hours per week
