Job Description: Apprentice Wind Turbine Technician (NNG), Eyemouth

Siemens Gamesa is committed to creating a sustainable future through renewable energy. We are seeking a motivated Apprentice Wind Turbine Technician to join our team in Eyemouth, United Kingdom. This role offers an opportunity to develop technical skills in a dynamic environment dedicated to green energy solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain hydraulic, mechanical, electrical, and control systems on wind turbines
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose faults within these systems
  • Assist with documentation related to maintenance and safety procedures
Candidate Requirements:
  • At least three GCSEs at Grade C or above, including Maths, English, and Science (preferably Physics) or equivalent qualifications
  • Reside within 45 minutes of the Eyemouth site
  • Comfortable working at heights and in challenging environments
  • Willing to live and work away from home, with the first 18 months based near Scunthorpe
  • Interest in engineering, technology, and the environment
  • Manual dexterity and attention to detail
  • Understanding of money management and safety protocols
