Job summary

Group 1 Automotive is seeking an apprentice to service vehicles and develop essential automotive skills in a dynamic, customer-facing environment. You will learn checks and maintenance in line with brand guidelines and work with Service Advisors to coordinate repairs.

You will also maintain records, stay tidy in the work bay, and focus on delivering outstanding customer experiences while progressing through your apprenticeship program.

Qualifications

• GCSE (or equivalent) in Maths, English and Science.
• Strong team player with good communication.
• Excellent timekeeping and the ability to work under pressure.
• Motivated to deliver great experiences to customers, partners and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Carry out vehicle servicing and maintenance per brand guidelines.
• Identify, repair and replace faulty components.
• Liaise with Service Advisors regarding required repairs.
• Maintain repair and service records.
• Keep the service area tidy and safe.
• Demonstrate customer-centric approach in all activities.
• Meet apprenticeship requirements and progress with the provider.
