Job summary

Group 1 Automotive in Stansted is offering an Apprentice Vehicle Technician role with Audi. You’ll learn by doing, gain qualifications, and start earning from day one while you train. You’ll work with a friendly team and receive full support to develop your skills in servicing, repairs, and customer care.

You will complete your apprenticeship with provider support, meet brand standards, and grow in a business with 7000+ colleagues, 114 dealerships, and a strong development culture across the UK.

Qualifications

• GCSEs in Maths, English and Science required or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Carry out vehicle servicing and maintenance per brand guidelines.
• Identify, repair and replace faulty components.
• Liaise with Service Advisors on required repairs.
• Maintain repair/service records.
• Keep work bay tidy and demonstrate customer-centric approach.
• Meet the academic requirements of the apprenticeship and progress with the provider.

What you'll do day to day

• Servicing our vehicles – you'll be carrying out checks and maintenance in accordance with brand guidelines
• Identifying, repairing and replacing components and parts that are faults
• Liaising with our Service Advisors about required repairs or vehicle work
• Maintaining repair and service records
• Learn and demonstrate work bay and surrounding area tidiness
• Consider the customer impact on any activity with the vehicle, demonstrating our customer‑centric approach
• Satisfy the academic requirements of the apprenticeship – engage with our provider and ensure course progress
