Job summary

Fix Auto Loughborough is recruiting an Apprentice Vehicle Damage Assessor to join our busy automotive team. You will learn to inspect, document damage, and assist in creating repair specifications while earning a recognised qualification.

The role offers 24 months of training with on-site coaching, mentor support, and progression opportunities into a permanent position. Applicants should have GCSE English and Maths at grade C or above and be reliable for travel to the workshop.

Qualifications

• GCSE English – 4/C or above
• GCSE Maths – 4/C or above

Responsibilities

• Learn to inspect vehicles and record damage using manufacturer guidance
• Identify parts needing repair or replacement and document findings
• Support the creation of repair specifications for workshop
• Develop skills in estimating using manual methods and software
• Learn how repair costs and timescales are calculated in a commercial environment
• Communicate professionally with customers, colleagues and insurers
