Howard Hindson & Son is a family owned and run business in specialising in the highest quality reupholstery, restoration and repair of domestic, contract and antique furniture in the north east and beyond. The business was first established in 1947 by Howard Hindson in Russell street, Middlesbrough to provide a high quality re-upholstery and furniture restoration service in the North East. We moved in 1974 to Parliament Road and in 1990 bought William Lunnon, another family run upholstery business, to cope with the increased business. Seeking to further expand we made another move in 2004 to Cumberland Road, Middlesbrough giving us a 6000 sq ft workshop with a 1000 sq ft showroom. The business is now 3rd generation since Andrew joined the business in 2004 and Phil joined in 2017.Company Bio
