Stagecoach Gainsborough Depot in the United Kingdom is offering a Level 2 Bus Driver Apprenticeship. You will be paid while you train to gain your PCV licence and CPC training as part of a structured apprenticeship, with no prior driving experience required.

After completing training you will work as a qualified bus driver with a contract at the Gainsborough depot, earning a competitive annual salary and enjoying benefits such as paid training and progression opportunities across Stagecoach.

• Earn while you learn, we provide fully paid training to help you gain your PCV licence and enhancing your learning through a Level 2 Apprenticeship Qualification.


• Based at our Gainsborough depot, located at Gainsborough


• Pay rate during training of £12.21 per hour (training will last 6 – 8 weeks)


• Annual earnings of £25,396.80 following completion of training based on 40 hours per week as a qualified Bus Driver


• Shift patterns of 4 or 5 days out of 7.

What will you be doing?

• Completing our industry leading training, securing your PCV licence followed by ongoing CPC training and professional development which form part of gaining your Level 2 Bus Driver Apprenticeship

What do you need to apply?

• You need to be 18 years old and hold a driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points


• Right to work in the UK (You will need to have been in the UK for a minimum of 183 days as part of DVLA requirement) and have been ordinarily resident in the UK and Islands or the British overseas territories for the last 3 years OR meet alternative criteria due to funding criteria (can be discussed via application)
