Apprenticeship Programmes are a great way to earn and learn! Our Trade Effluent Technician Apprentice Programme offers the perfect blend of operational and stakeholder management exposures whilst also featuring admin activity required to ensure internal and external targets are met. Entering an apprenticeship scheme with us involves working towards the role of a fully-fledged professional, earning a salary, whilst also being able to maintain a sense of academic achievement. At Severn Trent, we provide the perfect mix between hands-on experience and a formal qualification, enabling our apprentices to make a real lasting difference to our customers and communities, not just for now, but far into the future.
As an apprentice Trade Effluent Technician, you’ll be exposed to a wide range of opportunities.
You'll be supporting colleagues to help create a fair and equitable working environment where everyone can succeed. Your role will be to gain practical experience in the Bip Resources team and in particular Trade Effluent. You’ll be developing your knowledge and understanding of Severn Trent and the Wastewater and Trade Effluent processes. All of this will allow you to further develop your data collection, analysis, stakeholder and problem-solving skills so you can communicate effectively to a wide variety of stakeholders.
For this Apprenticeship Programme (Level 3), we require all candidates to have Maths and English GCSE (Grade C/4 or above).
If you are successful, you will require a full UK licence and access to your own vehicle upon beginning your role.
By the end of this programme, you will take up a role as a Trade Effluent Technician.
