Job summary

South Tees Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust offers an Apprentice Therapeutic Radiographer position at The James Cook University Hospital in Middlesbrough. You will undertake a Level 6 Apprenticeship with UWE Bristol, combining paid work with university study to achieve a BSc (Hons) Therapeutic Radiography degree.

You will become a registered Therapeutic Radiographer after successful programme completion, joining a large radiotherapy service and advancing through Band 3 to Band 4 on progression.

Qualifications

• Be ordinarily resident in the UK for at least three years before starting the apprenticeship.
• Successful completion leads to HCPC registration as a Therapeutic Radiographer.
• BSc (Hons) Therapeutic Radiography degree through UWE Bristol via the apprenticeship programme.

Responsibilities

• Undertake the Therapeutic Radiographer Level 6 Apprenticeship Standard with UWE Bristol.
• Complete the BSc (Hons) Therapeutic Radiography degree.
• Work within the Radiotherapy Department at The James Cook University Hospital to gain clinical experience.
