Apprentice Technician - The Agnew Group - Belfast, Mallusk and Portadown

We are keen to recruit Apprentice Motor Vehicle Technicians for our busy workshops across the Agnew Group. This exciting Apprenticeship opportunity is available in our premium brands including Audi, Mercedes-Benz, BMW, Volvo, Mini, Porsche, and Volkswagen, with opportunities in Belfast, Mallusk, and Portadown.

Hours of work are Monday to Friday, 8.30 am to 5.00 pm. The program is run in partnership with various training providers. As an Apprentice Motor Vehicle Technician, you will be involved in all aspects of maintenance and repair, from routine servicing to the complete component overhaul of vehicle systems.

Over three years, our Apprentice vehicle technicians learn through on-the-job training in our workshops and classroom training. Main duties may include:

  • Achieving or expected to achieve at least grade C in GCSE Maths and English (or equivalent).
  • Demonstrating a passionate interest in or relevant practical experience of motor vehicles.
  • Having strong IT skills.
  • Exhibiting excellent written and spoken communication skills.
  • Learning and applying new concepts and ideas.
  • Having a genuine desire to become a competent Diagnostic Technician.
  • Being flexible with working hours, as shift patterns may be in operation.
