Job summary

Sinclair Group is seeking an Apprentice Technician to join our Jaguar Land Rover team in Newport. You will gain hands-on experience with Range Rover, Defender, Discovery and Jaguar, while working toward a nationally recognised qualification.

You will earn while you learn through the Jaguar Land Rover Retailer Apprenticeship Programme, in a modern workshop with a supportive team. This is a fantastic start for a long-term career in the motor industry.

Job description

Working alongside experienced technicians, you will learn how to:

• Service, maintain and repair vehicles
• Carry out vehicle inspections and health checks
• Assist with fault diagnosis and repairs
• Work with modern vehicle technology and electrical systems
• Maintain accurate workshop records
• Follow manufacturer and health & safety standards

You’ll receive a combination of practical workplace experience and specialist Jaguar Land Rover manufacturer training.

Entry Requirements To meet the requirements of the Jaguar Land Rover Retailer Apprenticeship Programme, candidates must:

• Be aged 16 or over
• Hold, or be predicted to achieve, at least four GCSEs at Grade 4/C or above, including:
  • English Language
  • Mathematics
  • Two additional subjects
