Job summary

Sinclair Group is recruiting an Apprentice Vehicle Technician for Jaguar Land Rover in Newport. You will learn on the job while earning, working toward a nationally recognised qualification through the Jaguar Land Rover Retailer Apprenticeship Programme.

Training includes Jaguar Land Rover manufacturer courses, hands-on diagnostics, and service tasks. You’ll gain experience on Range Rover, Defender, Discovery and Jaguar models in a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Be aged 16 or over.
• Hold, or be predicted to achieve, at least four GCSEs at grade 4/C or above, including English Language and Mathematics, plus two other subjects.
• Equivalent qualifications may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Service, maintain and repair vehicles.
• Carry out vehicle inspections and health checks.
• Assist with fault diagnosis and repairs.
• Work with modern vehicle technology and electrical systems.
• Maintain accurate workshop records.
• Follow manufacturer and health & safety standards.

Sinclair Group is looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Apprentice Technician to join our Jaguar Land Rover team in Newport.

This is an exciting opportunity to earn while you learn, gaining hands-on experience with some of the world's most desirable vehicles, including Range Rover, Defender, Discovery and Jaguar. You'll work towards a nationally recognised qualification while completing the Jaguar Land Rover Retailer Apprenticeship Programme.

The Role

Working alongside experienced technicians, you will learn how to:

• Service, maintain and repair vehicles
• Carry out vehicle inspections and health checks
• Assist with fault diagnosis and repairs
• Work with modern vehicle technology and electrical systems

You’ll receive a combination of practical workplace experience and specialist Jaguar Land Rover manufacturer training.

Entry Requirements
