Company Bio

Family run business, trading for 40 years on the same site. Started off refurbishing vacuum cleaners and now refurbish just about any item from a vacuum cleaner to a Christmas tree.

Description

• Processing return electrical and non-electrical items and refurbishing them
• Unpacking, testing, cleaning, repairing & repackaging items for resale
• Labelling products once they have been refurbished
• Identifying products on job pallets
• Changing motors and belts as part of processing them
• Assembling and disassembling products
• Identifying damaged goods and stripping them down into saleable parts where practical to avoid sending parts to landfill
• Sending suitable cardboard waste to shredding for packaging use

Requirements

• Basic numeracy and literacy are essential
• The ideal candidate is hardworking and able to work as part of a team
• Computer skills and working knowledge of Excel are advantageous
