Job summary

Barnsley Metropolitan Borough Council in Barnsley is seeking an Apprentice Teaching Assistant to join a popular town-centre school. This full-time post is a fixed-term, temporary contract for the duration of the Level 3 training course, with 30 hours per week and 38 weeks per year plus 2 inset days.

Apprentice Teaching Assistant

Hours per week: 30 hours

38 weeks a year plus 2 Inset Days

The Governing Body of our popular town-centre school is looking to appoint an apprentice to work and train in our growing environment.

• Be committed to undertaking a relevant course of study ie. Level 3 in a Teaching Assistant qualification

• Be prepared to work indoors / outdoors in order to support all aspects of children's' learning
